Culinary Heritage Corporation (CHC) is a 501(c)(3) non profit dedicated to promoting and preserving culture through food. CHC was established as a response to the homogenization and globalization of food culture worldwide and the rapid decline of household cooking within the United States. Our organization aims to raise awareness and reverence around the personal and environmental benefits of developing, practicing, and nourishing food traditions within local communities. We are currently working on two main initiatives; the advancement of a multimedia production company which focuses on the documentation of traditional food making within indigenous societies, of an online database of traditional recipes and traditional food customs, and the launch of a series of traditional cooking workshops and education food lectures. All of our major initiatives concentrate on the promotion of bio-cultural pluralism through the medium of food.
