Ike Goldstein purchased Chattanooga-Based Cumberland Manufacturing in 1939. At that time, Cumberland was primarily known for its "Windsor" brand of spices and extracts. A copmany that spanned in business since 1898. Goldstein, added a line of health and beauty products under the "Swan Drugs" label. He then moved the company to Middle Tennessee, setting up first in Downtown Nashville Tennessee and later moving to the old Army/Air Corp Base(Sewart Base) located in Smyrna Tennessee.When Ike retired his sone Eddie who later brought his son, Randy and daughter Julie into the business. Family members Raymond and Marilyn Simon were also involved during the company's ownership. Sons Michael and Issac Simon were engaged in some form during the ownership. The company was sold from family interests in 1992 to the Perrigo Company located in Allegan Michigan.
