Curriculum Crafter® Tool is a curriculum management software tool developed by Kent ISD to support the curriculum development activities of schools in Kent County. The Curriculum Crafter® Tool was built by teachers for teachers and is currently in use in over 300 Michigan school districts. Our users, which include teachers, education consultants and curriculum developers, have access to: ● 3.4 million lessons● 743,000 units of instruction● Thousands of resources, assessments and links to instructional technology.● Project based learning all based on Universal Design for Learning in the following content areas:o CCSS ELA (Kent ISD teacher made) 100% aligned with CCSSo CCSS Math (Kent ISD teacher made) 100% aligned with CCSSo Michigan Social Studies (Kent ISD teacher made)100% aligned to Michigan Content Expectationso Current Science curriculum (Kent ISD teacher made), 100% aligned to Michigan Content Expectationso MAISA CCSS ELA Unitso MAISA CCSS Math Unitso MC3 Social Studieso NGSS Science Units will be available in the fall of 2014 To help Curriculum Crafter® Tool reach its full potential, Kent ISD will soon announce a new private/public partnership and the creation of a new company, Curriculum Crafter® LLC. Through this partnership, we are reinvesting in the Curriculum Crafter® Tool and will soon be releasing our new website, new functionality and new features to make the Curriculum Crafter® Tool more intuitive, easier to use and even more powerful.
