You will learn Spanish fast through one-on-one Spanish teachers in Latin America via Zoom. I started this company after I spent 8 weeks brushing up on my Spanish in Panama. I learned Spanish at warp speed - much faster than I did during undergraduate at the University of Iowa. And it was so much fun! We played games. We had interesting conversations and debates (in Spanish of course). I always looked forward to class. This experience is what inspired me to found this business. Not everyone can or wants to travel to Latin America to learn Spanish. But, I knew I could bring Latin America to them.I contacted my Spanish teacher in Panama and asked if he would be interested in teaching online Spanish lessons to Spanish learners in America. His response was pure enthusiasm. He put me in contact with other Spanish teachers and our team grew.I, Lindsey Everhart, am the founder and president of Custom Spanish Lessons. I hold a BA in Spanish from the University of Iowa, as well as an MBA from the University of Iowa Tippie School of Business. My vision for the future of the business is for it to grow. I will screen and hire the best Spanish teachers in Latin America. However, I want to really know my employees and for them to be comfortable coming to me with new ideas and innovations. With that in mind, my goal is to grow a teaching staff of 30-35 Spanish teachers.
