Cutting Edge Karate is where success stories begin. We're a locally owned martial arts school, combining expert instruction and traditional martial arts with real-world self-defense and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Starting with our Lil' Dragons course all the way to our adult classes, our students not only learn the blended art of American Tang Soo Do, but gain strength, confidence, and healthy habits along the way, including those that'll help kids defend against bullies. We're passionate about passing on these values -- all to help each student become a champion both on and off the mat.Established in 2003.Cutting Edge Karate has been offering instruction and training in American Tang Soo Do since 2000. We started as an after-school program in the San Fernando Valley area. As the classes grew, we opened our studio in West Hills in 2003. We offer a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in American Tang Soo Do that produce amazing results!Master Brandon Kemmer is the owner/chief instructor at Cutting Edge. He began his martial arts training when he was just 6 years old at the Church at Rocky Peak. He is a 5th Dan Master Black Belt in American Tang Soo Do under Grandmaster Mark Cox and has devoted his life to training and teaching martial arts.Master Kemmer married his high school sweetheart, Nicole, after attaining his Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University. In 2012, they had their first child and future American Tang Soo Do Master, Jonah.Master Kemmer is passionate about expanding his knowledge and learning new techniques. He cares deeply about his students and loves helping students young and old better their lives and achieve greatness!
