Cuyahoga River Restoration Details
Cuyahoga River Restoration is the nonprofit working to support restoration, stewardship, and education around the river and its watershed. We staff the Cuyahoga River Area of Concern, and are the lead partner in the Cuyahoga American Heritage River initiative.Our programs include Habitat for Hard Places (fish habitat development in the ship channel,) Cuyahoga ReLeaf (planting and nurturing riparian and urban forest canopy,) DepaveNEO (replacing impervious parking lot paving with green spaces,) and outreach and education to manage invasive plant species. We offer consulting services to assist with green infrastructure practices, invasive plant management, and organize volunteer tree planting and depaving events.
