The CVBLab research group, belonging to the Instituto de Investigación e Innovación en Bioingeniería (I3B) from the Universitat Politècnica de València, works on signal, image and video processing applied to several fields among which diagnostic aid and human behaviour analysis stand out.The group is coordinated by Dr. Valery Naranjo, professor of the Communications Department from the Universitat Politècnica de València, who has led and participated in many national and European research projects. CVBLab is formed by computer vision and biomedical engineers, PhD students and a bioengineering and telecommunication postdocs.The work of the CVBLab has been recognized in recent years with various awards such as the award in biomedical engineering Best Innovation in Technology 2013 within MIHealth Innovation Awards or the pre-selection as national best practice in Health & Environment category in the World Summit Award (WSA )2015.
