Cyfarwydd: Heritage with Passion was established in 2014. The brain child of four heritage professionals working in south east Wales, Cyfarwydd aims to make heritage services available to enthusiastic audiences, nationally and internationally.Cyfarwydd essentially translates into 'professional storyteller', and that is at the heart of what we do. Heritage is all about stories, stories about the experience of an individual Roman soldier, through to stories about the growth and development of entire landscapes. It is these stories that our experienced team wants to share through our heritage tours.However, Cyfarwydd offers much more. While we want to open history and heritage to new audiences with our tours, we also provide expert museums, heritage and historical research skills to the professional sector, including facilitating sector training sessions such as oral history and marketing.
