D-Day Squadron Details

The D-Day Squadron is the American contingent of WWII Dakotas that crossed the English Channel to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day on June 5, 2019. The skies were filled with dozens of meticulously restored C-47 aircraft and hundreds of paratroopers billowing through the sky in authentic Allied uniforms and World War II military-style parachutes. Now, we've established the DC-3 Society to support members across owners/operators, pilots, mechanics, enthusiasts, historians, media and students to celebrate all the accomplishments of this legendary aircraft in war and peace.
