Da Vinci Studio Schools are designed to bridge the communication gap and link business with Schools. Businesses up and down the country have long raised concerns about the lack of work readiness amongst school leavers. Despite improvements in exam results over recent years, young people are still leaving education without the knowledge and experience they need to succeed in the work place. Numeracy and literacy skills remain a key concern for employers, as do a lack of employability skills, a strong work ethic and general awareness of the working world.Da Vinci Studio School students are empowered with the key common employability skills requested from businesses, delivered to our students jointly by businesses and the school, through business lead master classes, work experience & Da Vinci Studio School learning companies. Da Vinci Studio Schools are responsible for bringing businesses into schools & schools into businesses.Da Vinci Studio Schools are sponsored by North Hertfordshire College and were created through a partnership involving The Young Foundation, The Edge Foundation, local / national employers, leading agencies and the DfE.
