Daazo Film and Media Ltd. is a fresh innovative company funded in 2008 by young filmmakers in Hungary. Its main activity is to find new ways for delivering niche content especially short films to wider audience. Our mission is to discover fresh content and to save the European short film heritage. The company runs the VOD site Daazo.com - The European Short Film Centre, which has been supported by the MEDIA Programme since 2009. The website (with its apps) has quickly became one of the most important platforms for short filmmakers (9000 short films online) and the company distributes the best films to thirdparty platforms as well. Daazo also publishes World of Shorts magazine, which is the only significant English language magazine in print, dedicated to the promotion of shorts distributed at the largest European film festivals (Cannes, Berlinale, Venice) in 5000 print copies as well as online (sent directly to over 15,000 short film lovers).
