Daffodils Primary School was established on 14th April 1993 at Darbhanga, Bihar. With a vision to encourage Pre-Primary Education and Quality Learning. Daffodils was started at the right time, right place and for right people imparting right education to students. Late Kalpana Das was the Founder Principal of Daffodils Primary School who completed PGCE (Polytechnic of North London) along with B. Ed (Calcutta University) and M. Ed (MDU, Rohtak). The techniques and teaching methodology used at Daffodils were derived from her learnings from Polytechnic of North London such as Montessori Education, encouraging education of children with neurological and physical challenges etc. Late Chakradhar Das was one of the first elderly teachers of the school. The smooth running of the school was possible under the guidance, supervision and blessings of both Late Kusum Devi and Late Chakradhar Das. Dr. Hemant Kumar Das is the greatest pillar of strength for Daffodils both in the field of quality education and medicine, always providing the best for the students and teachers development. Due to the sudden demise of Mrs. Kalpana Das in May 2011 the school had to face some lows but it was her strength and devotion towards Daffodils that helped the school run with the commitment of teachers, students and staffs. Daffodils Primary School has been devoted to the strength of Mrs. Kalpana Das and has been re-established as Kalpana Das Memorial DAFFODILS PRIMARY SCHOOL Foundation. To take Daffodils to the new heights Mrs. Suprita Das and Mr. Pushpendu Shekhar Choudhary are trying their best to re-establish Daffodils and develop it further with quality education and creative learning under the guidance of Dr. Hemant Kumar Das, Mrs. Pushp Lata Choudhary and Mrs. Smita Das. Our Daffodils Family has grown bigger with each passing year with the support of our teachers, staffs, students and their parents.
