John was sitting around, doing nothing in particular, when he stumbled upon this video contest. It looked intriguing, so he decided to see if one of his former Austin Film Society intern buddies would be interested. As it turns out, she was. Elin and John put their heads together, came up with a fabulous name and got to work. With the help of a few good friends, they produced two entries for the contest. Since this was a dream come true for both Elin and John, and they such a grand time doing it, they thought it would be a superb idea to move forward with daft Moon. So here we are, daft Moon Productions, dedicated to producing high quality, polished projects while having a blast doing it. With our combined talents, we can see any project through from beginning to end, whether it be narratives, docs, commercials or anything in between.
