She has introduced pieces to the permanent collections of several major museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Victoria and Albert Museum, and many more. Since its beginning in 1989, Daiichi Arts has been focused on highlighting important Japanese contemporary ceramic works to the contemporary art space in New York. Japanese ceramics occupy a central position in Japanese art history. Its contemporary revival rooted in the preservation and continuous reinterpretation of production methods from The Minister of Culture's designated "Living National Treasures" and Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. Dai Ichi Arts brings these pieces, and other important ceramic works, to international centres for contemporary art to draw attention to the masterful value of ceramic materials.
