Daidalos Solution BV is an independent medical device developing company founded by Dr. Eric Berreklouw, a cardiac surgeon from The Netherlands, who has been involved in cardiac surgery since 1976.Dr. Berreklouw trained in The Netherlands and the USA, holds an MD and PhD in cardiac surgery, has been chairman of the Netherlands Society for Cardio-thoracic Surgery (NVT), and has been a long-standing member of the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) and Society for Thoracic Surgery (STS), and has been involved in clinical and experimental research in many aspects of cardiac surgery for almost 40 years. He has been practicing cardiac surgery in the Antonius Hospital Utrecht/Nieuwegein and Catharina Hospital Eindhoven, both in The Netherlands. Dr. Berreklouw has been involved in research and development of new techniques and medical devices in cardiac and vascular surgery, and invasive cardiology, as commercialized by Daidalos Solutions B.V.,located in The Netherlands.Daidalos Solutions BV holds a large patent portfolio in the field of cardiac and vascular surgery and invasive cardiology.
