Damiana Dolce has been singing and acting since she was eight years old. She moved to Vancouver Island with her mother at 8 years old, where she was the only child actor in the Fernwood Community Theatre company, did some work in voice-overs and story telling and, in her teens, became involved in C.A.S.T. (Company Of All Sorts Theater).Damiana moved to the city of Vancouver in 1989, and studied briefly at the Gastown Acting Studio.Damiana has been playing her songs in local coffee houses, comedy shows and cabarets. She is former member of Montreal's Maha Women's Choir and has made a variety of guest appearances; from performing and recording with punk rock band The Vulgar Deli, crooning Country and Rockabilly with Bloodshot Bill to singing the jazz standards and sultry songs of the vaudeville era, in Cabarets and dinner theaters. She performed and toured with the Toronto based, Fluffgirl Burlesque Revue and appeared independently in several burlesque/cabaret shows in Montreal, Ottawa and, predominantly, Toronto.Damiana made a brief cameo appearance in the horror film She Demons of the Black sun and has a role in a feature length independent film, currently in production, by documentary filmmaker, Daniel Bitton.Damiana is the co-founder and former co-producer of Diary of a Lost Circus Burlesque Cabaret.
