Dan Hermes Fine Art is a gallery dedicated exclusively to moving digital paintings. Designed for framed flat screen televisions or projection installation, these works use video, digital graphics, and CGI to delve into the essence of traditional oil paintings. Using color, shape, form, and imagery, we exploit the rich palette of the screen and the element of motion to draw the viewer into a unique, engaging sensual experience. Traditional art genres and subjects are our starting point: Still Life, Nature, Portraits, and Abstracts. Our styles draw on Realism, Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstract Expressionism.
