Dance Jam Productions (DJP) was started in 2004 by Dave Moldover, who had designed a unique modular dance floor that could be carted into any event space and assembled quickly into a ballroom dance floor worthy of champion level dancing. Over the years, the company has evolved into a full-service event production business, providing sound, lighting, drape, floor, and ultimately entire weekend dance competition experiences, all while staying relatively small and efficient.In addition to event production, DJP runs a weekly west coast swing dance in Silver Spring, MD which attracts over 200 dancers each week for lessons and social dancing, and well over 300 for special events throughout the year. With a focus on customer experience and community leadership, the team that runs these Friday night dances has built a lasting legacy in the DC area, cherished by locals as well as national and international attendees.
