Dancefusion USA was founded in 2005 by Ali McHenry and Kevin Collins. While walking down Westheimer in Houston, Kevin had this idea of a conference where anybody could learn how to do various styles of ballroom dancing that originiated in Detroit. Kevin and Ali were in immediate agreement and they spent the next few weeks creating a plan. Shortly afterwards, Dancefusion USA was born.Since 2005, there have been 5 national conferences with participants from Michigan, Texas, Ohio, Minnesota, California, Florida, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, and Louisiana.Dancefusion USA focusing on 5 core ballroom dancing styles: Social & ChaCha, Bop, Chop, Latin Hustle, and Salsa.
