Danish Healthcare ApS is a 100% Danish family-owned business. We primarily produce and sell disposable products for positioning under anaesthetic. We have a large standard stock range of fixation straps for leg, arm/ GU and foot, and can produce customised special products in consultation with hospitals.Small volumes of special products are produced as reusable straps, but new machines and increased warehouse capacity make it easier to fulfil special requirements as disposable products as well. 2006: Danish Healthcare was founded by Marianne Lund and Per Larsen with the aim of producing and selling reusable positioning straps for use under anaesthetic.2007: A lot of focus is placed on disposable products as part of accreditation standards for hospitals, and in close consultation with a university hospital, the first disposable thigh strap in Denmark is produced.2008: The product range is expanded by GU arm straps and leg straps, including straps for obesity operations.2009: Danish Healthcare becomes an ApS in late 2009, with Marianne and Per Lund Larsen as owners. Marianne continues working as an anaesthetic nurse to keep up to date with the daily procedures used in operating theatres.2010: Production facilities expanded.2012: Danish Healthcare ApS relocated in Alsted. The new premises are built to be eco-friendly, with geothermal heating, electricity from wind power and recycling of rainwater.2013: All products are checked for harmful substances at the request of customers. All products are approved.2014: Danish Healthcare ApS compiles a voluntary environmental policy. All reusable refuse has to be taken to environmental-approved recycling stations, and packaging has to primarily be FSC labelled.2015: Danish Healthcare ApS relocates its warehouse close to the office in Alsted in early 2015. New machines are acquired as part of the move for production to disposable products.
