Psychedelic, punk, dream-pop. These are just a handful of the many textures and aesthetics the LA-based band, Dark Dazey, achieves through their music. After auditioning multiple variations of the group, lead guitarist and vocalist, Cole Heramb, found peace with the current eclectic sextet which includes himself, Brooklyn-hailing jazz vocalist Mariah Hill, classically trained flutist Reese Rose, dead-head rhythm guitarist Simon Hirschfield, R&B-influenced bassist Holden Prine, Trinidadian drummer Daniel Ferguson, and actor, percussionist, and synth enthusiast Spencer Martin. Dark Dazey is a dynamic and diverse collective of multi-instrumentalists, visual artists, audiophiles and recording engineers who take their craft of creative composition and performance seriously, always exploring new sonic avenues. They treat their live shows no differently; they love igniting the crowd with rowdy and boisterous electrically-fuelled sets, but can always reel in the energy with intimate acoustic renditions. In the wake of the global pandemic, Dark Dazey is working hard to provide art and community to a growing audience, gearing up to release new sounds and visuals in the coming months. They can't wait to be back onstage howling with audiences in Los Angeles and beyond, however for the time being, they encourage everyone to stay safe, smart, and physically distanced as we wait for better days to come.~stay dazey baby~
