D.A.S.E. Youth Empowerment Troupe, Inc., is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization geared toward empowering the lives of youth, interns, and communities through education, life skills, performing arts, and internship opportunities. The mission of D.A.S.E. is to foster a culture of leadership and community consciousness that poise future generations to enact social change and become exceptional members of society. D.A.S.E. hosts educational forums throughout multiple schools and community centers in Miami-Dade County. We partner with numerous professionals and experts that come out and educate youth on important life skills that are not typically discussed in a classroom setting. Some of these life skills include dining and etiquette, financial literacy, organization and time management, image and perception, domestic and teen violence, and more. We use the art of Step Dance to showcase performances using various themes that mirrors topics of importance.
