The studio gallery is located 75 feet behind my family residence where my wife Martha and I have resided since 1974. After retiring from a 28 year practice of orthopedic surgery and with the aid and support of my wife and three adult children I have acted on a life long ambition to be a full-time artist. This began to physically materialize with the completion of the outbuilding in 2003 and the transformation from a pole barn to a studio gallery in 2005 when we held our grand opening with the exhibit 'Born in America', a series of 17 larger-than-life watercolor portraits of native Americans based on archival portraits taken at the turn of the 20
