Davenport Industrial Railroad (DIR) operates 3 miles of track located in the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center on the north side of Davenport, IA. DIR connects with the Canadian Pacific Railway in Eldridge, IA and offers regularly scheduled freight service, transloading, and railcar storage to a variety of customers in the Greater Quad Cities area. We offer transloading and warehousing services at our state-of-the-art Transload Center complete with a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse with rail and truck docks, and three separate staging tracks for transloading including spill containment structures.We provide our customers turn-key solutions from learning how to ship by rail for the first time to coordinating large regular shipments.
