Music - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by classical rock music. My playlists used to consist of the Eagles, Rush, and Led Zeppelin. As I got more into music, I picked up the guitar and fell into heavy blues, slow ballads and artists such John Mayer and Eric Clapton. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. At a very young age, my brother Landon and I would sing songs by the Jonas Brothers and Nickelback put on concerts for our parents. I consider my music a mixture of uplifting and ballad love songs that portray a musical style influenced by John Mayer, Mumford and sons, and Ed Sheeran. Some of my lyricism is inspired by my love for Hip-Hop and RnB. As I entered high-school I found a major interest in Travis Scott's Lofi sounds, Chance the Rapper, Eminem, Drake and Kendrick Lamar. I strongly think that rappers have really inspired the way I write my verses. Although I do not rap, I am always trying to find the most flow I can get out of a line. I have had the opportunity to partake in writing sessions with many songwriters and artists such as Geoff Warburton and Tyler Shaw. Not only that, but I was fortunate to play the banjo on the Boots & Heart main stage alongside country artist Justin Tyler. With my late band The Chase, I have over 1 million streams on Spotify. Currently, I am working on my debut solo project.
