dcarbon8 is a carbon management and sustainability consultancy. Our core services are in Business Carbon Footprinting, Life Cycle Assessment of products and measuring total life cycle carbon of buildings (including embodied and operational carbon). In all cases we measure the carbon footprint and provide reduction recommendations to not only reduce carbon but also cost.We also work with clients to produce sustainability strategies. This involves identifiying policies, objectives and targets to improve clients' sustinability credentials and subsequent support to report on the outcome.Accreditations:We are Carbon Trust accredited consultants to deliver Carbon Management & Carbon Management Energy Efficiency (CMee) services focused on reducing operational business carbon emissions and on establishing a programme of long term environmental change.We are also accredited to deliver Low Carbon Strategic Design Advice. These projects target carbon savings in new build and refurbishment projects (GFA> 10,000m2), single or multi site, public or private and targeted and pre-RIBA Design Stage A for maximum benefit.Finally, we are certified to deliver Planet Positive accreditation. Planet Positive (www.planet-positive.org) is a mark of environmental excellence that demonstrates a business, product, building or person has followed a prescriptive 4 step process:1. Measure their carbon footprint2. Reduce their footprint on an ongoing basis3. Act beyond their business boundary by offsetting the remainder of the footprint by 110% or donating to community carbon projects. 4. Report on their acheivement in the public domain to avoid greenwash.
