Established in 1985 by the amalgamation of Palmerston FC and De La Salle RFC, De La Salle Palmerston FC has a proud and long history in Leinster & Irish Rugby, and we also boast one of the oldest Mini Youth sections in Leinster. DLSP has always had a reputation for playing competitive Rugby at all levels and new members will very soon realise that by joining DLSP they have become part of a special family within Leinster Rugby and will enjoy the warm friendship and comradeship for which the Club is well known. The club is set in 16 acres in Kilternan, which gives us the space for the some 450 kids, 3 adult teams and touch rugby to train and play every week, plus the dozens of teams that visit the club week in week out from all over Ireland. We are also very proud to be one of the pioneers of special needs rugby in Leinster and our DLSP Eagles team train every Sunday and travel all over Ireland to play against other special needs teams. This is what epitomizes the ethos of the club, inclusion, rugby for all and fun.The club is available to hire for all events, private parties, company fun days, training days etc, if you have an event, we can help. With our main bar leading out onto our new fantastic balcony which overlooks our first pitch, the function room which can seat 150 people for dinner or 200 for a conference or training exercise, we are ideal for all manner of gatherings.With our fantastic base within the community, we are an ideal partner for businesses to improve and increase their overall presence as a brand.
