De-Stress with Dogs Details
De-stress with Dogs is an organization that promotes mental health, and removes the stigma surrounding it through our wonderful canine companions. The unconditional love of a dog can relieve feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. Since having a dog is not a viable option for many students attending UC Berkeley, our objective is to host gatherings of local dogs, along with community members, to provide a positive space for de-stressing and relaxing. Students can momentarily forget about the daily rigors of academia and unwind, while also improving their mental wellness.
