//deAbajoGarcía// is an architectural office founded by Carlos García Fernández and Begoña de Abajo Castrillo in New York in 2013. They are currently based in Madrid.They understand architecture as an ensamble of experiences within the fields of design, construction and academy. They share their interest for the combination of their practice with pedagogy and research in architecture.Carlos and Begoña are architects from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) and they both have been Fulbright Fellows at Columbia University in New York, where they have graduated from the Master of Science in Advance Architectural Design.Concurrently to their professional practice they are currently developing their research and teaching work at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
