Deaf Friendly Biz is a web-based directory of deaf-friendly businesses in Minnesota. "DFB" is a platform for these businesses to advertise to the Deaf community. Our goal is to educate businesses on how they can become or expand on the ways they are deaf-friendly, then to connect these businesses with people who can benefit from what they have to offer. Our vision is that this will create an empowering marketplace that creates social change through a dynamic business model. We want to change the landscape for how businesses interact with the Deaf community and believe that people who are deaf or hard of hearing deserve to make informed choices about their purchases. We feel that by creating a more welcoming and accessible business, the business experiences increased loyalty and enthusiasm about their products and services.
