In 2015, Dean Baldwin Painting celebrated 50 years of continuous business. Over the past 56 years the Dean Baldwin team has had the privilege of painting thousands of aircraft for many great customers. The company was founded in 1965 and began as the primary paint provider to the Miami International Airport. In 1999, Dean Baldwin Painting, LP. expanded its operation and acquired a 165,000 sq. ft aircraft strip and refinish facility. The hangar has six temperature-controlled bays with air filtration systems utilizing two independent integral waste management systems and is located in Roswell, New Mexico. The company further expanded the operation on July 2003 when it was awarded a long-term contract with ST Aerospace San Antonio to provide strip/paint services for all paint requirements at the facility. In February 2012, Dean Baldwin Painting added the capability to repaint aircraft at the Goodyear, Arizona airport. At this location airlines have the option to paint in conjunction with maintenance. The facility can accommodate B767/ MD11 size aircraft. In 2013 Dean Baldwin Painting began operating its second full service facility. The facility, located 65 miles north of Indianapolis in Peru, Indiana has undergone renovations to convert it to a state of the art, strip and paint facility with two wide body and two narrow body fully equipped, temperature controlled, hangar bays. The facility will accommodate aircraft as large as B747-8 and B777 size aircraft.Dean Baldwin Painting, LP. is a minority, woman owned, small, privately held business specializing in aircraft strip and paint services.
