Dean Institute of Technology is a conveniently located school thatprovides flexible, short-term training for industrial and technicalprofessions. Dean Institute also participates in the Pittsburgh Promise,a scholarship program that allows certain students to attend free ofcharge.Located in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dean Institute ofTechnology awards associate’s degrees and diplomas in: * Building Maintenance * Electrical Technology * HVAC * WeldingAssociate’s degrees may be completed in as few as 15 months and diplomaprograms in even less time. Day and evening classes are available in allareas of study.Dean Institute also awards comprehensive financial aid to those whoqualify, including grants and loans and the Pittsburgh Promise, afull-tuition scholarship for students at such qualifying schools as DeanInstitute.Dean Institute generally requires a high school diploma or GED foradmissions to all programs. However, graduating high school students mayalso apply as long as they supply a transcript. An interview with theadmissions staff is also required.
