Decibel Audio is a South African based company that started out in 2009 in Cape Town as a result of the limited DIY speaker part resources that reside in the country, and the owners' keen interest on the subject of DIY speaker building and audio over many years. Our goal is to provide the DIY enthusiast, with limited building experience, with the ability to easily construct their own high quality speakers for a fraction of the price of commercial speakers. Finished units will also be available with unique custom finish options.The mission of the company is to become the premier supplier of DIY speaker products in South Africa, and to design and manufacture limited quantity audio products of exquisite quality and design, using unique material combinations, technology, design and customization.
