Please allow this letter to serve as a letter of introduction of Deck Guard Services, Inc. to you. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. If possible, I would like to get on your bidder's list for future balcony deck/ exterior corridor waterproofing and pool deck resurfacing. I believe that I have an invaluable service I could provide to your organization. Deck Guard Services is a waterproofing contractor. Areas like walkways, pool decks, private balconies, stairways, etc. are some of the surfaces that we are capable of waterproofing and repairing. Specializing in large production runs, we can help you complete projects on a timely basis. We install Desert Crete (as per enclosed specs) directly over plywood which has a "one-hr. fire rating" or Desert Flex (as per enclosed specs) over concrete, magnecite, other coatings, etc and would be guaranteed for 3- 5 years. The fiberglass mat in our system acts as a slip sheet or bridge between the substrate and the top layers of the coating. This slip-sheet isolates the top layers from any movement that the substrate is experiencing and deters cracks from telegraphing through the top layers. Our warranty includes cracking for 3- 5 years with extended warranties available for another 3- 5 years. Warranties from other products probably will exclude cracking. One month after the coating has been applied; cracks could reappear in applications without the slip-sheet and won't be covered in any type of warranty.References include hotel/ motel chains, general contractors, painting contractors, property mgt. companies, etc. If you are ever looking for a well qualified and capable contractor to do some of this work, I would love to talk to you about the possibilities of working with you on some projects.
