The DVC at UCR was started by Richard Nguyen (DJ Simplex) on Jan. 2014 as a means to create UCR's first network of deejays. A club extended from San Diego to Riverside, the DVC brings people together with a similar passion for music. Today, the club continues to act as a network, while additionally providing new and aspiring deejays the lessons and experience required to become a great deejay.In the past, DVC has played at UCR's Block Party, Heat Music Festival and Spring Splash concerts. Our alumni & current deejays have gone on to deejay at Coachella, Sevilla of Riverside, Teregram Ballroom Los Angeles and Brownies & Lemonade.
