We've been a part of the digital signage industry since the early days, when a 42" plasma displays cost more than a compact car and LCD monitors hadn't yet hit the market. Technology has progressed and we've kept in step with the advances. Along the way we've learned much about how to create scalable solutions that perform flawlessly and in those rare instances where service is required we provide uncompromising service. The interest in digital merchandising has continued to grow in the marketplace and some large hardware & software companies are beginning to get involved. Most entries to the market have no understanding of the foodservice sector and the complexities of industry requirements. For example, digital menu boards are most effective when the presentation is focused to the specific demographic of consumers who are in-store at that time. This means that each store must have a unique presentation by location, day of week and day part. To accomplish this, the presentation software must dynamically assemble hundreds of assets (images, animations, text, pricing, etc.) real-time based on a presentation instruction set. Now imagine this in 10, 100, 1,000 or even 10,000 stores…. these are the types of solutions we create. Most other companies in the digital signage space just play back movies on-demand.
