Founded in 2013 by three USC graduate engineers, Deetra Inc.'s first product is developed to provide a radical new way to share and connect through an innovative and intuitive smartphone application. THE APP: Deetra can be summarized by its 2 key features, location smart sharing and location smart connecting: Location smart sharing: Deetra allows you to selectively share information with your friends based on their location in real time. Simply set the center point and radius of a post's visibility or select any city, state or country. Friends currently located in the zone can see the post, however they won't be able to view the post when they leave the zone. Location smart connecting: Between classes and have a spare hour? Deetra connects friends who are geographically in close proximity with one another and helps coordinate short-notice activities. Users can also connect with friends by sending in-application messages, requesting friends' exact location, or organizing spontaneous events with one or several friends.
