AKRO Tool Company was founded in 1960 by Ralph Snider as a custom metal fabrication and machine job shop. In 1984, Ken Johnson, Ralph's son-in-law, took the helm, continuing to grow the business with OEM and MRO customers throughout the Midwest.In 2012, Richard Deffren purchased 52 year old AKRO Tool Co Inc. adding CNC machine services, including CNC repair, systems upgrading, installation and relocation.AKRO Tool Company is headquartered in an 11,500 sq. ft. facility, and is one of the largest independent machine shops in Cincinnati.
