Degrees of Emotion Ltd's mission continues to be focussed on enhancing Emotional Intelligence (EI) and human expression for individuals with either physical and/or psychological needs through software-based products. The applications have been trialled by Speech Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Special Educators, in both school and in clinical settings.We now have live applications which can be downloaded and either purchased or trialled for 30 days. On the way, we have called on friends, acquaintances and professionals to ensure we have two unique products, which surpass our initial expectations. The tools are uncluttered and easy to navigate and have wide application for helping professions.The application Degrees of Emotion has proven outcomes, an example is the use in a group setting, where intellectually disabled adolescents were able, as a group, assist another member of the group to investigate other ways to tackle an anger problem he was having, and find a resolution to it.Storyboard has had similar success, when used with a young woman who was finding it hard to make friends, she and her occupational therapist used Storyboard as a method of ‘rescripting' the story with figures and text, resulting in a great outcome! She now enjoys her time with several friends!
