Food Production - Grapevine, Texas, United States
When Jerry Delaney got a phone call in 1988 inquiring as to whether he'd be interested in buying 120 acres of old cotton fields south of Lubbock he wasn't sure what to make of all the excess land. But as a Texan at heart paired with a dreamers innovative drive he rolled up his sleeves and, with the help of family and friends, laid the foundation to what would soon become the largest vineyard in North Texas. At Delaney Vineyards we are passionate about upholding our founder's values and cultivating the dreamers spirit. In a world bustling with technology, media, and distractions we know how difficult it is to take a moment to stop and smell the roses. So, we decided to change that. Open in 1996 our Grapevine location transports the visitor back in time to an old-world era of elegance, enchantment, and simplicity. With an 8,000 square foot winery reminiscent of 18th century French chateaus nestled among 10 acres of lush grapevines Delaney Vineyards offers a chance to not only smell the roses but also watch a sunset while enjoying a glass of wine.
