Established under the aegis of Delhi Public School, Society, it has been recognized by the Directorate of Education, Haryana with affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education. Today its strength is over 3500 students & 200 teachers from classes Pre-Nursery to XII. With a high average aggregate score in Board Exams of above 84% year after year, DPSSL has made it to HT's list of top schools in Gurugram. It has been conferred the ISA Award by the British Council (2011-2014, 2015-2018,2019-2022), the ASSOCHAM award for ‘Best School for Innovation and Value-Education' in 2014 .
