Media, headquartered in Hollywood, is a production company with a network of award-winning podcast and radio producers across the U.S. Acclaimed content creators Sonari Glinton and Laura Sydell developed DeLite! Media as an answer to two problems plaguing news and informational content providers: declining interest and trust from audiences and a dearth of diversity in newsrooms.Through collaboration with journalists and producers from underrepresented groups, Glinton and Sydell seek to move journalism and good storytelling forward by foregoing old newsroom hierarchies and pay structures in order to increase appeal to top-tier talent who can deliver captivating content to new audiences. With our employee-owned programming model, producers and journalists own part of the shows they work on, further helping protect the future of journalism and allow storytellers to thrive.
