Delta Bar Int'l Transport & Shipping Services was established in 1989 with the purpose of providing transport (air, sea, land) services as an important link for developing economy & trade relation between Iran & other countries in the world. In this direction Delta Bar became the sole official agent of Schenker in Iran. Deltabar developed its Airfreight services and opened agency office in Tehran Airport in 2001 to better serve the clients ,and in the meantime, also stablished his own office in Tehran int'l exhibition ground,for better handling of exhibition cargo. we stablished our offices in Tashkent Uzbekistan, Herat Afghanistan,in 2004 and developed activities in transit of cargo via Bandar Abbas to/from CIS countries & Afghanistan,then we opened our office in 2007 in Yerevan/Armenia . In november 2008, we broke out our exclusive contract with D.B Schenker,and after one year; they stopped all their services to Iran!!. in 2009,we started handling of the big project of annually appx 500,000 tons cotton fiber coming by rail from uzbekistan to B.abbas,consist of :transit formalities, storage,sorting,repacking,stuffing into containers ,sea freight to different destinations ,in our 28,000 sq. meter storage area,specially equiped for storage & handling of cotton fiber & other material in B.abbas.,since then,we have handled over 65,000 teu's in B.abbas. and finally,in 2011 ,we have the pleasure to became the member of WFP!!)
