Established in 2009, Delta Twins has been nominated for Detroit Music Awards "Outstanding Blues Artist", have been a finalist in the Detroit Blues Society's "Blues Challenge", and some of their songs have won songwriting competitions. They have performed at some of the areas most noteworthy venues and festivals. Their lyrics are woven with surprising depth, and their grooves will get your feet moving, your heart beating, and your soul LEAPING! After an 18-month hiatus, Delta Twins returned in March 2016 with a leaner, tighter lineup that now consists of: Bob Young - vocals, keys, blues harp, guitar Tom Kozanecki - bass guitar Terry Birkett - lead guitar Doug Austin - drums FYI, we've shared stages with: - Laith Al-Saadi - Chris Canas - Rusty Wright - David Gerald - Jill Jack and many more great artists. We've performed all over southeastern Michigan, including: - Greektown Casino - Hard Rock Cafe in Detroit - Boo's Music Bistro in Royal Oak - Nancy Whiskey in Detroit - Blue Goose Inn in St. Clair Shores - Trinity House Theatre in Livonia - Arts Beats & Eats in Royal Oak - Campus Martius Park in Detroit - Numerous festivals and concert series in SE Michigan.
