Ideas, opinions, knowledge and most importantly, a proper discourse – have since forever, been indispensable elements of a growing and changing society. Right now, if we look around, the entire globe seems to be encapsulated by some or the other debate and is dwelled upon by seekers of answers to questions about anything and everything. While the world is undergoing this stage of metamorphosis, the Deltech MUN, Debating and Quiz Society of DTU is striving to uphold the key ideas of democracy and intellectual growth. A cohort of almost 60 students, the members of the society have worked tirelessly to bring about a culture of open, respectful and intellectually stimulating environment where students from various streams of study come together with a motive to be a better, more aware and responsible person and citizen. Working simultaneously in three arenas namely Model United Nations, Debates and Quizzes, the society provides a platform on which a strong foundation can be laid for what will later on become a robust pillar of development. The society organizes Debates and Quizzes on vivid topics very regularly and is paving its way to become an established name the MUN circuit as well. Delegations from the society have participated and won laurels in various colleges. Leaving no place for complacency, the society has a knack for trying out new things that can further enhance their efficiency and quality. Keeping up with the same attitude of being learners forever, the members of Deltech MUN, Debating and Quiz Society of DTU aim to tread continuously on the path towards progress – of individuals, of society, of the country and of the world.
