DemocracyInAction was founded in 2004 to make sophisticated organizing tools accessible to progressive organizations of any size. Mission Accomplished. Today, thousands of organizations have been served by DIA and the entire landscape of online organizing has shifted in large part because of our programs.Now, DemocracyInAction turns its efforts to providing access to in-depth and on-demand organizing education to support movement-building globally. DIA aims to be the definitive source of e-learning around organizing with a strong focus on using technology to enhance organizing strategies. From novice and non-technical to very advanced and extremely geeky, DIA will serve organizers across the globe.
