At DFER, we know that it takes more than policy to move the needle for kids in our public-school systems. DFER champions believe that values like fairness, pursuit of quality, and responsibility to those who are served should be embedded in education policy. ERN and DFER invest in direct policy advocacy efforts, coalition building, leadership development and policy maker education, aimed at building a pipeline of education champions who know we can do more to effect transformational change in public education in Washington.
