DEMOLA Latvia is a 3 month programme within which interdisciplinary student teams work on problem cases given by actual companies. Each students from a team gets 200 - 228 EUR monthly scholarship for participation. Students apply individually and are put together in interdisciplinary teams. Students are from any any Latvian university, ERASMUS+ programme and up to their studies. Over the course of 3 months student teams of 5 people together with their facilitator learn and create together, visit the company's premises and collect overall information about the company and data regarding the problem.Participants have 4 events together: 1)Kick off event 1+1)Team Lead Wroskhop 2)Jam I (Friday and Saturday), 2+1)Networking event 3)Jam I (Friday and Saturday) and 4) Solution presentation even Final PITCH event. During practical workshops participants learn teamwork, customer needs, problem validation, learn and develop presentation skills and participate in a prototyping workshop at RTU Design factory.Program is supported by ERAF project Nr. 1.1.1.3/18/A/001 "RTU inovāciju granti studentiem".
