The Department of International Development Cooperation (DIDC) is the international policy division of the Institute of New Structural Economics (INSE). INSE is a pilot academic institute in China founded by Prof. Justin Yifu Lin, former World Bank Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, in December 2015. Drawing lessons from development experiences of China and other developing countries, INSE aims to serve as a leading academic institute and a world-class flagship think tank by pioneering theoretical innovation and application from the perspective of New Structural Economics. Our goal is to facilitate economic structural transformation in developing countries through research, policy advice and investment promotion. Drawing from the framework of New Structural Economics, we study and evaluate development policies using innovative methods. Based on our expertise in this field, we also advice governments in developing countries and assist in attracting international investors. Our team has conducted research and completed assignments in Bangladesh, Benin, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Senegal and Uzbekistan.Contact us at: inseidc@nsd.pku.edu.cn
