Department of Civil Engineering, SJBIT, is established with a vision to produce high-quality Civil Engineering graduates to suit the ever-dynamic infrastructure industry.The Department offers Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering as an Undergraduate course and Master of Technology in Structural Engineering as well as CAD Structures for Post-graduate courses in Civil Engineering.The department has good infrastructure and well-established laboratories and presents a unique opportunity to study the exciting field of engineering through conducive learning programs. The department has a Research Center recognized by Visvesvaraya Technological University leading to a Ph.D. program.The academic activities of the Department lay emphasis on a deep understanding of fundamental concepts, development of creative ability to handle the challenges of Civil Engineering, and the analytical ability to solve engineering problems which are interdisciplinary in nature.
